About
A native of North Carolina, John attended Auburn University for undergraduate where he graduated summa cum laude while majoring in finance, and went on to study law at the University of Notre Dame. John spent the first five years of his legal career practicing at large firms in Charlotte before joining the Rhine Law Firm and moving to Wilmington. John has extensive experience litigating in both federal and state court across the state, handling matters of all sizes. John is also honored to have served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Graham Mullen in the Western District of North Carolina.
John loves the intellectual challenge and competition that comes with practicing law. Although John enjoys fighting in court when necessary, John understands lengthy legal proceedings do not always serve his client’s best interests. Thus, John strives to resolve matters without formal litigation wherever possible.
When John is not practicing law, he enjoys cheering for Auburn and Notre Dame, playing his guitar, and finding anything to do that keeps him outside.
